Dear customers,
I have updated my Service Menu with the new prices and services that will take effect on 1 August 2012.
You will notice that the prices of some services have been adjusted upwards. This is an unfortunate but necessary step that I have had to take because I am giving up my day job soon in order to provide nail services full-time. It is a big step for me, because it means that I will lose a very stable and comfortable source of income in order to be able to do what I love for a living.
All along, I have been charging below market rate and often giving discounts to my best customers because I wasn’t doing it for the money and I could live comfortably enough on my income from my day job. However, turning this hobby into a full-time job means that I will have to charge more to ensure that I can survive on the income from this job.
In order to make it a little easier for customers to adapt to the new prices, I have a Gel Lovers Package which keeps the price of Gelish manicures and pedicures at only $30 each. Do hurry though, as the package is only available for sale up to 31 July 2012, or until it is sold out, whichever is earlier. (I am limiting the number of packages sold to ensure that package holders will always be able to book appointments.)
Although I wish I didn’t have to raise my prices, I hope you understand where I’m coming from, and I hope to continue to receive your support. I have been incredibly lucky thus far to have so many appreciative and loyal customers, and it is regrettable that I have had to turn away so many of you due to my limited slots. The good news, of course, is that you will soon be able to choose from more slots when I go into this industry full-time, and I will finally be able to serve more new customers. I am looking forward to working my magic on your nails.
