Design for Doris:
I thought this was pretty unique – for the accent nails, the black roses are done with gel (Angel Pro Gelly Polish in #29) so I could build depth by using 1 layer of black for the shape of the petals, then adding shadows to the petals and darkening their edges with a second layer of black. Finally, I highlighted them with Orly Gel FX in Shine. Next time, I’ll make the petals thicker so that the shading is more obvious!
For the rest of the nails, I did black French tips and lined them with silver. The base colour for this mani is Gelish Desert Sands.
